Brunnich's guillemots
The Hinlopen strait is a narrow, breathtaking stretch of water between Spitzbergen and Nordaustlandet. This area is a popular location for sea birds such as Brunnich's guillemots and little auks. Often, a flock of these guillemots would fly past, sandwiched between my lens and a spectacular mountain backdrop.
